Where can I book?
Flower Teahouse:
Shared tea ceremonies are for 6 years old and up.
Private tea ceremonies are for 4 years old and up.
We cannot host children 3 years old and under.
Garden Teahouse:
All ages are welcome.
Children 6 years old and younger are free.
Kimono Rental:
We have kimono for all ages and all sizes. Please get in touch so we can discuss options for families.
Children, Infants and Babies
Families are more than welcome at our teahouses, but we do ask that if you are traveling with a baby, toddler, or child under 3 years old of age that you book a private tea ceremony at Garden Teahouse.
At Flower Teahouse we have 2 tea rooms, with private and shared sessions taking place at the same time. Because of this any noise or disruption easily affects other guests.
At Garden Teahouse guests have the entire house to themselves for their session and so there is no possibility of disrupting others during the tea ceremony.
An important part of tea ceremony is the peaceful atmosphere and wordless performance. It is important to all of us here at Camellia that everyone feels welcome, but we also owe it to other guests that their experience is not affected by others. We very much appreciate your understanding in this matter.
