How it works…
1) 1 hour before your tea ceremony (the time on your booking confirmation, unless otherwise arranged) go to the kimono studio for dressing.
2) Choose your kimono, obi belt and accessories on the ground floor. The team will then take you upstairs for dressing.
3) Be sure to wear comfortable underwear on the day as you will need to strip down to your undergarments.
4) You can leave your clothes and any belongings you don’t need at the studio (please take all valuables with you - we will give you a small bag to keep these in).
5) Before departing the team will give you a ticket, and will ask when you plan to return (this helps with later preparations).
6) 10 minutes before your tea ceremony please make your way to Flower Teahouse (right beside the studio).
7) Kimono rental is for the whole day. You are free to walk around the local area after your tea ceremony.
8) Try to be back at the studio by 5pm for undressing.
